The Role
As a Clinical Trial Manager, you will be responsible for the successful execution of clinical studies exclusively within Bulgaria. Working closely with the sponsor, you will lead local trial management, ensuring studies are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for experienced Local Clinical Trial Managers with trial oversight experience looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of clinical studies within Bulgaria.
- Act as the primary liaison between local teams and global study leadership.
- Ensure sites adhere to ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and protocol-specific needs.
- Provide oversight of Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and site operations.
- Identify and resolve site-related challenges, implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Monitor recruitment targets and study timelines, ensuring successful study delivery.
- Support study feasibility and contribute to local operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with monitoring visit expectations and quality reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inspection readiness and audit preparation.
Requirements
- Proven Clinical Trial Management experience (Local Trial Manager, Clinical Trial Manager or similar with trial oversight experience).
- Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and Bulgarian regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading clinical trials from start-up to close-out.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain high-quality trial execution.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Bulgarian and English.
