Senior Clinical Research Associate

Chloe O’Shea is partnering with a leading global clinical research organization (CRO) known for high-quality, patient-focused studies and strong investment in their teams. We are looking for an experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA). This is a stable, thoughtfully structured position with a manageable workload of 6–8 site visits per month, giving you the space to focus on quality monitoring and trusted site relationships.

The Role

As a Clinical Research Associate, you will oversee the day-to-day execution of clinical trials across the Netherlands. You will work closely with investigators and sponsor teams to ensure studies are conducted to the highest standards of compliance and data integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site qualification, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits across the Netherlands
• Ensure adherence to ICH-GCP, Dutch regulatory requirements, and sponsor protocols
• Verify source documentation, maintain investigational product oversight, and ensure accurate records
• Proactively identify and address site issues to keep studies moving smoothly
• Build positive, professional relationships with site staff and sponsor stakeholders
• Provide support and training to site teams on protocol requirements and study procedures
• Maintain up-to-date trial documentation in CTMS, eTMF, and EDC systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field
• Minimum of 18 months’ independent monitoring experience in the Netherlands
• Sound knowledge of ICH-GCP and local regulatory requirements
• Fluent Dutch and English skills, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication
